District-level competitions: Badminton shots seen in Jaroda, gymnastic skills in Medta
Nagaur: The 68th district-level competitions are being organised in Medta block. On Sunday, gymnastics and badminton competitions were held in Medta city and nearby Jaroda Khurd, respectively. Players showcased their skills and enthusiasm to win at both venues.
In Jaroda, the badminton competition for school students was organized, where the team from PM Shri Vidyalaya Jaroda emerged victorious. The tournament was inaugurated by Medta MLA Lakshmanram Meghwal, former MLA Ramchandra Jaroda, and other dignitaries. The competition will continue until September 12.
Physical Education Teacher Opendra Singh said that the inaugural match was played between PM Shri School Jaroda Kalan and Adarsh Navodaya Medta City. The Jaroda Kalan team won the match. Teams from different districts of the state are participating in this competition.
Similarly, the 68th district-level gymnastic competition was organized at a private school on Ren Bye-Pass Road in Medta city. Former MLA Jaroda, Bhagirath Poonia, and other dignitaries inaugurated the competition. Organizer Veerendra Dugastava said that 50 teams participated in the competition. Teachers and players, including Prem Sukh Tandi, Rajendra, Ramkaran, and Kailash Kasniya, were present during the event.
