A heart-rending clip that has surfaced on the internet from one of the metro stations in Kyiv, which is being used as a bomb shelter by many Ukrainians currently, has left everyone teary.
The video displays children in the metro station finding joy in the little things in life. They can be seen playing in the underground bomb shelter.
The video was shared by Oleksandra Matviichuk, Head of the Center for Civil Liberties (Ukraine), on Twitter on Tuesday.
In the video, kids can be seen using a slanted platform as a slide and gliding down it. They can be seen all smiles as they enjoy the little things that life has to offer in the bomb shelter. “Childhood in the Kyiv metro, which residents of capital use as a bomb shelter #StandWithUkraine,” the video caption reads.

The clip left many Twitter users sobbing. While some talked about the vanity of war, others wrote about the privileged lot of society.
“In America, many children have everything. And they complain they are bored. They might take a peek at how these Ukrainian kids entertain themselves living underground. You don’t need a lot to play,” a user wrote.
Kyiv’s metro stations have been dubbed to be safe in the midst of the raging conflict. People who do not have bomb shelters have taken solace here.
