Ajmer (Rajasthan): A massive protest was staged by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Ajmer, alleging discrepancies in the NEET results. The students demanded a CBI investigation, cancellation of the current results, and a re-examination.

On Friday, a large number of students, led by the ABVP, gathered at the collectorate to express their discontent. The students alleged that the National Testing Agency (NTA) ignored the paper leak reports and declared the results despite the discrepancies. The students presented a memorandum to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, highlighting the anomalies in the examination process.

Recently, a gang involved in the paper leak was caught in Bihar, and it was revealed that a deal of Rs 60 crore was made for the paper. Despite these allegations, no action has been taken against the NTA. The students are demanding a CBI probe into the matter and a re-examination for all students, not just those who received grace marks.

The students claimed that grace marks were awarded without any provision for the same, and marks such as 720, 719, 718, and 713 were given. The NTA has not acknowledged the paper leak, and the students are demanding a fresh declaration of results. The students' agitation was led by ABVP leaders, including Rashtra Karyakarini member Ashuram Dukiyar, Mahanagar Mantri Uday Singh Shekhawat, and others. The Civil Lines police station police arrived at the spot to maintain law and order.
