Students who are doing their education from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) then, candidates get ready to face the new changes in the education pattern. Because the union minister has instructed CBSE to change the examination pattern.
The reason to change the examination pattern is to test the descriptive and objective knowledge of the candidates.
Modi-led government is focussing on upgrading the education quality in the country.
Therefore, the ministry has directed to focus on descriptive and objective knowledge, said Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satya Pal Singh.
He said that CBSE has been instructed to make the examination pattern so as to check students’ descriptive and objective knowledge.
This instruction was given to CBSE after discussing with all members of the state of boards to change the education system.
The Minister announced this during the session on higher education which was organised by Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the context of students scoring 100 per cent marks in board examinations.
He also gave the examples of the students who want to take admissions to the Delhi University. Also, said that quality of education is not clear as some states give marks more the 95 to 98 per cent while some states give less than 90 per cent, which is a great difference.
TO minimise this disparity, the central government is trying to make a comparison and also take out a ratio and move ahead with the admissions, the minister added.
