Delhi: The fourth day of the weekly Teej festival at Bikaner House was a vibrant celebration of Rajasthani art and culture. The event was a kaleidoscope of colors, with women dressed in traditional attire, mehndi designs, and handicrafts on display.
The grand procession of Teej Mata was the highlight of the event, with women performing traditional puja and archana. The procession was accompanied by the rhythm of folk music, with visitors tapping their feet to the beats of Bhapang, Jogiya-Sarangi, and Ravanhatha.
The event also featured a mehndi competition, which was won by Kirti, Chhotu, and Neelam. The Lahariya Poshaak competition was won by Mamta Singh, Nisha Raj, and Sunita. Rajasthan's Additional Resident Commissioner, Anju Omparkash, said that the festival aimed to showcase Rajasthani art and culture to the people of Delhi and provide a glimpse into the rich heritage of the state.
