UP: Wife refuses to go home, husband attacks her with stone

A shocking news was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Pratagraj where a husband brutally murdered his 20-year-old wife. The incident took place on early Sunday morning in Pathak Ka Pura under Nawabganj police station.

As per reports accused identified as Babloo who got married to Savita and has a 2-month-old baby with her allegedly killed his wife with a stone. Savita who was staying with her parents refused to go back to her husband's house due to problems best known to her.

On Sunday, Babloo arrived at Savita’s house and as soon as she opened the gate he attacked her with a stone and left her bleeding. Hearing Savita’s cries her parents and neighbours rushed to the spot and nabbed the accused. Savita died as she succumbed to her injuries. Her family thrashed the accused and then handed him over to the police.

Police have arrested the accuse, a resident of Mauima and have booked him under murder case.

In a similar incident in Kerala, a man strangulated his wife to death as she insisted him to meet her parents. The incident took place on Monday after a heated argument between the two regarding the same. In the rage deceased’s husband compelled her to consume alcohol. After getting her into an inebriated state he killed her and then hung her body from the ceiling fan in an attempt to pass it as a case of suicide.
