UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: Huge vacancies released for BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP posts; 20 plus can apply now
UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) opened its application window for the posts of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) on its official website on April 20. Candidates who are interested in the latest recruitment drive of UPSC can register themselves at upsconline.nic.in.
UPSC will conduct a computer-based test for CAPF vacancies. The written exam will be held on August 7, 2022. The exam consists of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper, I will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and paper II will be conducted from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm.
Under this recruitment drive, UPSC will fill a total of 253 vacancies for various posts- CISF, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, and SSB.

UPSC CAPF 2022: Eligibiliy Criteria
Educational qualification:
According to the official notification, “A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.”
UPSC CAPF 2022 Age limit:
A candidate must be between the ages of 20 and 25 on August 1, 2022, i.e. born between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2002.
UPSC CAPF Application Fees
Candidates need to pay Rs 200 as an application fee while Female/SC/ST category aspirants are exempted from payment.
