SBI PO Recruitment 2019: Know the major change introduced to prelims exam criteria
The State Bank of India has released 2000 vacancies on the official website for the post of Probationary Officer. The last date to submit the application form is 22nd April. Therefore, candidates who wanted to apply for the post should submit their application form before the closing of the application form.
SBI has released a job notification on 2nd April in an advertisement and stated the details about the vacancy. However, this year, SBI has introduced a new change to the examination criteria.
From this year, there will be no sectional cut-off and category-wise merit list will be released on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary exam, SBI PO notification reads.
To give a relaxation to the aspirants, SBI had removed the sectional cut off criteria for the prelims exam of SBI PO.
SBI PO prelims exam comprises of three sections- English, Quantitative Aptitude and 9Reasoning Ability.
The exam will carry a total of 100 marks and one hour will be alotted (20 minutes for each section) to complete the exam.
"Candidates numbering 10 times the numbers of vacancies (approx.) in each category will be shortlisted for Main Examination from the top of above merit list," reads the notification.
