Not Virat Kohli but this player can be the key factor for India's World Cup victory
Indian cricketing body, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced their 15-member World Cup squad yesterday. BCCI gave some surprises, but the rest of the team was predictable as they chose players who played recently concluded ODI series for India.
Virat Kohli is number one batsman in the world and fans want him to perform beyond expectations ans same goes for the world number two batsman Rohit Sharma. But they are not going to be the key factor in India’s victory in England.
It is Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder known for his big hitting finishes. Hardik is going to play a crucial role in India’s World Cup victory both with the bat and the ball. Hardik is a medium pacer when it comes to bowling and a right-handed batsman.
Hardik Pandya is going to play his first World Cup this year after he made his debut for team India in October 2016 coming from Indian Premier League. Pandya became a household name after he played an important part in Mumbai Indians’ 2015 IPL victory.
India will look to win their third World Cup this year and Hardik Pandya would definitely want to win his first. He along with KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav will play their first World Cup.
