From IPL to World Cup, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians rules the pitch
The biggest spectacle of one-day international cricket is round the corner and teams are busy declaring their 15-member squad. India has declared their team yesterday in a press conference for the upcoming World Cup in England.
The cricketers are currently playing in the Indian Premier League. All of them are playing with one or the other franchise except for Rajasthan Royals. None of the players selected for World Cup squad play for the franchise in IPL. Ajinkya Rahane, captain of Rajasthan Royals did not get a place in the World Cup squad.
Beside winning three titles each in the IPL, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have taken the maximum space in the World Cup squad as well. Both CSK and Mumbai have three players each in their kitty, who will be playing World Cup in June.
Delhi Capitals has just one player who is going to play the 50-over tournament. Shikhar Dhawan who opens for India also opens for his franchise in the IPL.
The World Cup 2019 will begin on May 30, India will play their first match against South Africa on June 5. On June 16, India will play their arch rival Pakistan.

Kings XI Punjab - Mohammed Shami, KL Rahul
Sunrisers Hyderabad - Vijay Shankar, Bhuveneshwar Kumar
Kolkata Knight Riders - Kuldeep Yadav, Dinesh Karthik
Royal Challengers Bangalore - Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal
Delhi Capitals - Shikhar Dhawan
