When the glittery FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy was lifted by La Albicelestes, not only Argentina but the world celebrated the historic triumph.
With this glorious win, star striker Lionel Messi fulfilled his dream of winning the most prestigious trophy for his country. Leo’s name is etched in football folklore for steering the squad to the triumph.
As we all know, the football world is divided into two sections, one that likes Cristiano Ronaldo and the other section that worships Lionel Messi. And when Ronaldo’s team was not made it to the finale and Leo lead his team to the FIFA trophy, his fans filled social media with the GOAT hashtag.
Since the end of the FIFA World Cup in 2022, Messi’s fanatics are trying everything to showcase their love for the star footballer. Swept by the Messi mania, some are roaming the streets wearing ‘Messi’ t-shirt, while others are painting their walls with his portraits.
But one fan took it to the next level and inked his forehead with Lionel Messi’s name. Mike Jambs, an influencer from Colombia, inked ‘Messi’ (in large font) on his forehead with ‘DIOS’ (god in Spanish) inked on one side of his face. on the other side, he got three stars, representing the number of times Argentina has clinched the FIIFA World Cup. Jambs shared the video of getting the tattoo on his Instagram profile and wrote “Fulfilling the challenge,” in the caption.

However, the influencer is now regretting the ‘Messi’ tattoo. “I regret having done the tattoo because instead of bringing me positive things, it’s led to lots of negative things, both personally and for my family. I didn’t think I’d be saying this so soon and I felt very proud of what I’d done in the first few days, but I now wish I hadn’t done it,” he shared in Spanish in the video, reported Metro.
Mike Jambs is receiving mixed reviews on social media sites because most people disagree with his decision.
“How far people go for the hunger of “fame” putting together this whole circus and the worst thing is that there are people who believe,” commented a user in Spanish.
“How you’re going to regret having the greatest of all time. Don’t say that bro,” said another.
