Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on 15 October inaugurated Deendayal Upadhyaya auditorium in Raipur on the occasion of his birthday.
Speaking at the event, Singh said the auditorium has been named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay so that all can get inspired by his illustrious life.
The Chief Minister further said the auditorium has become state's pride as it was constructed in just two years.
"The people of Chhattisgarh have created me and I am trying to live up to their expectations. The journey from councilor to Chief Minister was possible only because of people's blessing," he said.
Singh further called for bringing quality in work and asserted that it would help the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to earn people's confidence.
"I have always pitched for sound and quality work so that the coming generation would remember our work. If we will do quality work then nobody can beat BJP till generations," he added.
