FIFA World Cup 2018: Here's how Ronaldo and Messi will face each other in the history of World Cup?

The two soccer player's Messi and Ronaldo described as the best of their generation but never faced each other in the FIFA World Cup 2018 match but that can change in Russia if they continue to win the games in their group.

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has already scored 4 goals in the FIFA World Cup, following Argentina star Messi's debut goal in the crucial 2-1 win over Nigeria on Tuesday.


Argentina and the Portugal, two would have to finish in the same position in their group and then go on to defeat their last-16 opponents.  

Both player's have faced each other a total of 35 times with their respective clubs, they have never played against one another in a World Cup final.

The main difference between the two world class footballer's  is that Cristiano Ronaldo has lifted an honour international with his national team while Messi is still empty-handed to lift the trophy.

Messi led Argentina has reached four times in FIFA World Cup finals never failed to managed to win.
