Kotputli, Jaipur  (Rajasthan) : Kotputli. To increase enrollment in government schools, the Education Department will organize a two-phase "Entry Festival" program. The first phase will run until July 17. The process will be completed in two phases.

In the first phase, teachers will conduct a household survey from July 1 to identify out-of-school children, hard-to-reach cases, and dropout students.

The second phase of the first stage will begin on July 2, where teachers will campaign to enrol identified children in the CRC (Cluster Resource Center) module. This campaign will continue until July 17. The second phase of the Entry Festival will start on July 18, where teachers will again conduct a household survey to identify remaining out-of-school children. This survey will continue until July 24. From July 25 to August 16, a campaign will be launched to enrol these children in the CRC module.

This Year's Change

This year, the Entry Festival process will be digitized. The household survey data will be registered on a digital application, enabling out-of-school children's information to reach the village, panchayat, district, and state levels directly. Teachers conducting the household survey will identify out-of-school children, dropout students, migrant labourer children, and children freed from child labour. They will also create a digital record of these children on the Entry Festival app. Teachers will be responsible for creating a plan for the enrollment of these children, ensuring their admission to nearby schools according to their age, and maintaining accurate records on the CRC module.

Participation of All

In both phases of the Entry Festival, collective participation will be encouraged to increase enrollment. Members of the School Development and Management Committee, alumni, parents, and student unions will support the campaign. Banners and pamphlets will be used to attract students to government schools.

"This year, we will implement a digital Entry Festival to increase enrollment. We will use an app to register household survey data and conduct a two-phase campaign to enrol out-of-school children. The first phase will run until July 17, and the second phase will start on July 18 and continue until August 16. We will also use banners and pamphlets to attract students." said Bhagirath Meena, CBEEO Kotputli.
