The instant messaging application Whatsapp has secretly added its first new feature of the year in its beta version. This feature is currently available only on beta version of Whatsapp. This feature is to switch from a voice call to a video call. Whatsapp has given a button to switch to a video call during a voice call. After the arrival of this feature, if the user is on a Whatsapp voice call with anyone, he can make a video call without disconnecting the call. If you want to switch to a video call with someone during a voice call, then a request will be sent to another user.

If the user does not want to switch to the video call, he can reject the request of the video call. If you want to, then you can get accept the request. If the user rejects the request of the video call during a voice call, the voice call will continue. This feature of WhatsApp to switch from a voice call to a video call is not for group calls.

Whatsapp has stopped supporting some smartphones from December 31, 2017. These smartphones include Blackberry Operating System, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8.0. Now users using these smartphones will not be able to create new Whatsapp accounts and neither can re-verify current accounts. Now after the end of the report, Whatsapp will not offer any security updates and new features in the future.

However, Whatsapp will continue to support the version of Windows 8.1. Blackberry had already announced that it is not going to launch a new smartphone. Blackberry 10 and Blackberry Operating Systems have already been discontinued. The phones coming from the name of the BlackBerry brand are now being manufactured by the company of China, TCL, in which the Android operating system is being used.
