Reliance Jio and Intex Join hands for 'football offer' cashback on 4G Smartphones

Indian Mobile phones' manufacturer Intex has joined hands with the Reliance Jio to offer the 'football offer' on its 4G smartphones. As a part of this offer, Intex 4G smartphones will be available with a cashback of Rs 2200. The 'football offer' can be availed up to March 31, 2018.

Reliance Jio Football Offer provides buyers of eligible smartphones with a cashback of Rs 2,200 in the form of 44 vouchers worth Rs 50 each. To take advantage of the offer, you are required to recharge your device with Rs 198 or Rs 299. The cashback vouchers can be redeemed on subsequent recharges through MyJio app only.

The Intex devices eligible under the offer include the Aqua Zenith, Aqua Prime 4G, Aqua Pro 4G, Cloud Q11, Aqua Note 5.5, Cloud Q11 4G , Aqua Strong 5.1+, Cloud Style 4G, Aqua Maze+, Elyt-E1, Aqua Crystal, Aqua Lions 4G, Aqua Supreme+, Aqua Trend Lite, Aqua Crystal+, Elyt-E7, Aqua Selfie, Aqua Lions 3, Aqua Power IV, Aqua 5.5 VR+, Aqua Style III, Elyt E6, Aqua Lions X1+, Aqua Lions X1, Aqua Jewel 2, and Aqua Lions E1. All the eligible Intex smartphones are mid and high-end models.

Along with the Jio, Intex is planning to acquire its share in the market. The idea is to develop an Indian Operator and device manufacturing nexus which is currently dominated by the Chinese smartphone manufacturers. Also, Last month Intex announced its plans to lunch more smart world stores in Southern India, with an aim to broaden its customer base in the Tier-II cities.The region contributed about 35 percent of its total business revenue. The company said that it will open nearly 40 stores in 2018-2019.

Speaking of the smartphones, the last handset Intex was the Aqua Lions T1 Lite priced at Rs 4,449. It comes with a 5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass, quad-core 64-bit MediaTek chipset, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB. The Phone runs on Android Nougat.
