Prayagraj Junction Station Work to Affect Train Routes

Bina: In a bid to upgrade its facilities, the North Central Railway is undertaking renovation work at the Prayagraj Junction Station, which will result in several trains being diverted to alternative routes. The duration of these diverted trains has also been extended.

According to a railway spokesperson, the 15559 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express, which was initially scheduled to run until July 24, will now be diverted via Varanasi-Jivanathpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur until August 14.

Similarly, the 15560 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Express, which was supposed to run until July 19, will be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Jivanathpur-Varanasi until August 9.

Other trains affected by the renovation work include the 19421 Ahmedabad-Patna Express, which will be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction until August 11, and the 19422 Patna-Ahmedabad Express, which will be diverted via Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur until August 13.

Additionally, the 01025 Dadar-Balia Special Express, which was initially scheduled to run until July 24, will now be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Jivanathpur-Varanasi until August 14.

The 01026 Balia-Dadar Special Express, which was supposed to run until July 26, will be diverted via Varanasi-Jivanathpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur until August 14.

The 01027 Dadar-Gorakhpur Special Express, which was initially scheduled to run until July 25, will now be diverted via Manikpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Jivanathpur-Varanasi until August 13, while the 01028 Gorakhpur-Dadar Special Express, which was supposed to run until July 25, will be diverted via Varanasi-Jivanathpur-Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur until August 15.

Passengers are advised to check the revised routes and schedules before embarking on their journeys to avoid any inconvenience.
