Electricity and Water Woes: Congress Workers Issue Ultimatum to Authorities
Bandikui (Rajasthan): Congress party workers and leaders organised a demonstration outside the sub-divisional office on Thursday, submitting a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) through Tehsildar Dharmendra Meena. The Nagar Block and Mandal Congress Committee demanded immediate resolution of the problems faced by the common people.
In the memorandum, they highlighted the severe water and electricity crisis in the city and rural areas. On one hand, people are struggling to cope with the intense heat, while on the other hand, they are facing deepening water scarcity and unscheduled power outages.
The common people are facing immense difficulties due to these problems. The memorandum stated that water supply is only available every 10 to 15 days in the city, forcing people to struggle to access water. People are being forced to buy water tankers at exorbitant rates. The Congress workers warned that if the problems are not resolved within five days, they will launch an agitation.
Several Congress leaders, including Nagar Palika Chairman Indira Bairwa, Vice-Chairman Rajesh Sharma, Block President Rameshwar Meena, City President Kailash Bairwa, City Mandal President Ashok Kath, Shyalaawas Mandal President Harimohan Mal, District General Secretary Jay Singh Bairwa, Former IT Cell District President Narendra Bansal, District Secretary Ratan Singh Patel, Ravindra Dev Bairwa, Block Spokesperson Kuldeep Doi, Vishram Prajapat, Councilor Rajendra Chaudhary, Rameshwar Thekedar, Bahadur Bairwa, Naval Sawariya, Former Nagar Palika Chairman Chandramohan Akodiya, Former Councilor Prakash Sain, Raghvendra Pawar, RD Bairwa, Youth Leader Narendra Meena, Ramphool, Pidi Bairwa, Vinesh Verma, Papan Daiman, and others were present on the occasion.
