Alwar (Rajasthan): Bajaj Chetak, a renowned brand in the two-wheeler segment, has launched its electric avatar. The grand launch ceremony took place on Sunday, marking a new era in the electric vehicle market. 

The new Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has been creating buzz even before its launch, with many customers already showing interest in the vehicle.

Kamal Dhokariya, a dealer at Dhokariya Bajaj showroom in Alwar, said that for the past two years, several companies have been dominating the electric two-wheeler market. 

However, Bajaj has taken a significant step forward with its electric scooter, prioritising safety and customer service. Dhokariya highlighted the unique features of the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter, including its metal body (not fibre-based) and its ability to cover a distance of approximately 100 kilometres on a single charge, with faster charging time compared to its competitors.
