Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan celebrated his 44th birthday on Wednesday. The actor, who debuted with his father Rakesh Roshan's 2000 film Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai has so far acted in nearly 21 films.

Hrithik Roshan is also the only Bollywood superstar apart from the Khans to deliver the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year in the last 10 years.

From Akshay Kumar to Abhishek Bachchan, most of the Bollywood actors wished the Bollywood superstar on his birthday.

However, Hrithik Roshan received a surprise birthday wish from none other than Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

The five-time national award winner took to his Twitter page to wish the Jodha Akbar on Wednesday.

"Happy Birthday @iHrithik #HappyBirthdayHrithikRoshan", Mohanlal tweeted.
