The first look and motion poster of Telugu actor Mahesh Babu's upcoming film SPYder released on Wednesday. Directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini and Thuppakki fame, the Telugu-Tamil bilingual is touted to be a thriller. Spyder also marks the Tamil debut of Mahesh Babu and Telugu debut of Tamil actor SJ Surya. The film stars Rakul Preet Singh of Dhruva fame in the female lead.

Reportedly, the satellite rights of the Mahesh Babu starrer have been sold to Zee Network for a whopping amount of Rs. 15 crore. ZEE was recently in news for bagging the satellite rights of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 for a record breaking Rs. 115 crore.

Mahesh Babu will be seen portraying the role of an intelligent officer in SPYder and SJ Surya essays the main antagonist in the film.

SPYder is scheduled to hit the screens worldwide on 23 June 2017.
