Deal between NCP-BJP: Sanjay Nirupam
Sanjay Nirupam believes that some kind of deal was struck between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sharad Pawar in Parliament. " If this related to farmers then other leaders from Maharashtra should have been part of the meeting," he argued while talking to a television channel.
Amit Shah briefly joined the meeting
Interestingly, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Home Minister Amit Shah also joined the meeting on Wednesday in the Parliament House. However, Amit Shah left the meeting after a few minutes.
Eyebrows were raised
Politicians from Congress and NCP had objected to such a meeting when a discussion for government formation in Maharashtra was going on between Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress. But NCP kept stressing there was nothing political, only issues related to farmers were discussed.
Congress humiliated, exposed: Sanjay Nirupam
"Leaders who are part of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) mislead Sonia Gandhi as they were not aware of the real political situation in Maharashtra," said Sanjay Nirupam. "
