West Bengal: Woman killed after building collapses in North 24 Parganas

A 55-year-old woman was killed after a building collapsed in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on December 21. The deceased woman was stuck under the debris.

Police and fire tenders reached the spot after getting the information. According to the police, the deceased woman’s daughter told the cops about the property dispute with her uncles.

“Our personnel reported about smell of cooking gas while victim's daughter also told us about a property dispute with her uncles,” police said.

Police have started the investigation, and the work is underway to remove the debris.
