Bahujan Samaj Party candidate from Fatehpur Sikri, Shree Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit has reportedly abused Congress leader Raj Babbar and has called his supporters ‘dogs’. Guddu Pandit has also threatened to thrash Babbar and his supporters with a shoe for spreading false information.
“Sunn lo Raj Babbar ke kutton, tumko aur tumare neta nachaniya ko dauda dauda ke jooton se maarunga jo jhoott faelaya samaaj mein. Jahan milega, Ganga maa ki saugandh tujhe jooton se maarunga, tujhe aur tere dalaalon ko (Listen Raj Babbar’s dogs, I will beat you and your leaders with shoes if lies are spread in the society. Wherever I find you, I swear on Ganga I will beat you and your middlemen with shoes,” Pandit said at a rally here on Monday.
Ahead of ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Guddu Pandit has been booked over four times on account violating the poll code.
The BSP leader Pandit had won from Dibai constituency in the 2007 Assembly elections in the state. However, he joined the Samajwadi Party (SP) in 2012 and re-contested from the seat.
Guddi Pandit was reportedly expelled from the party with his brother Mukesh Sharma for going against his party’s whip, after which he joined the BSP again.
There are seven criminal cases against Guddu Pandit, according to his affidavit submitted during nominations.
Polling for Lok Sabha elections in seven phases is held from April 11 till May 19. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
