Technical glitch forces Delhi metro to stop for 45 minutes; this is how Twitter reacted
The life-line of capital, Delhi Metro's services got delayed due to the technical glitch at the Rajiv Chowk metro station, earlier on 21 October morning. The blue line of Delhi metro Noida/Vaishali to Dwaraka route was shut down for almost 45 minutes causing trouble for the commuters.
As per reports in media, the Pantograph of a metro got entangled in Overhead Equipment (OHE) while the metro train was approaching Rajiv Chowk around 9:20 am. Even though the train services were regulated in the blue line in short loops between 9:20 am to 10:05 am, the passengers of the metro were angry.
However, the authority's of Delhi Metro informed that the Overhead Equipment team had taken care of down metro line and the train that caused trouble was removed from the line at 10:05 am.
