Shocking! Dead cockroach found in idli-vada served on board to Air India passenger, complaint filed; pictures go viral

A dead cockroach was found in a breakfast served to a passenger onboard Air India’s Bhopal-Mumbai flight AI-634 on Saturday. The passenger, Rohit Raj Singh Chauhan said he complained to the crew but was ignored. He found dead cockroach in Idli Vada Sambar which was served to him on Air India plane.

“It was found in the sambar served in the aircraft. I informed the Air India crew, but they ignored me,” Chauhan said. “Since the crew members were not listening, I returned it to them. I even objected to their serving food to others, but to no avail,” he added. Chauhan also wrote a complaint regarding the incident in the feedback section.

The Air India crew responded: "Passenger of seat 11A, Mr. ____ found dead cockroach in his meal and was very furious. He complained bitterly about the catering and the airline as to how the meals are not securely checked before being served to the passengers. He would be putting it on social media. Crew apologised for the same."

According to TOI reports, Air India manager Rajendra Malhotra, however, refuted the claim, saying they had not got any complaint in Bhopal.
