Rajasthan Weather: Cloudy skies, rainfall likely in Rajasthan
The weather in parts of Rajasthan remained cloudy due to the effect of a western disturbance, as per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on April 29.
The weather department has also predicted that the daytime temperature will remain below normal across the state.
Moderate showers were recorded in some parts of the desert state in the last 24 hours, and light to moderate rain with thunderstorms were recorded in several parts of the state since Friday. Nimbahera in Chittorgarh received the maximum rainfall of 28 mm followed by Barmer where 25 mm rain was recorded, the IMD said.
Under the influence of the western disturbances light to moderate rainfall is also predicted in most parts of Rajasthan.
Western Disturbance
A fresh western disturbance is expected to be activated from May 2 which will trigger a fresh spell of rainfall activities on May 2 and 3.
Maximum Temperature
The daytime temperature is expected to remain 3 to 5 notches below the normal.
Heatwave
According to the IMD, there is no possibility of heatwave in the desert state for the next five days.
