Rajasthan Shocker: Newborn found lying on field, without clothes; condition critical
Residents of Sikar district’s Dhalyawas village found a 48-year-old newborn girl lying naked and abandoned at 7 degrees Celsius in the fields on February 13.
Locals covered the newborn with warm clothes and immediately informed the police.
According to Srimadhopur SHO Prakash Singh Rathore the newborn girl is critical and currently under medical examination.
The villagers said that they found the newborn in a deplorable condition as she was lying in cold without clothes. They claimed that the child also has wound marks on her body.
As per police, sisters Renu and Saroj found the newborn child when they went to throw cow dung in the field in the morning. Both the sisters heard cries and noises. When Renu and Saroj went to inspect, they found a baby girl lying in cold without clothes.
They then picked up the baby and wrapped her in the clothes and took her to the hospital.
According to the doctor, the baby girl’s heartbeat is low and she is in critical condition. The weight of the newborn is 2.46 kg.
Police are collecting data from the nearby hospitals and to find the parents of the newborn child.
