Rajasthan: School teacher thrashed for allegedly molesting minor girls, gifting mobile phone during Valentine’s Week

A teacher in Bassi Tunga area of Jaipur district was beaten by villagers over allegations of molesting girl students. The villagers claimed that the teacher tried to befriend the girls and offered to gift them mobile phones. A commotion broke out outside the higher secondary school in Palawala Jatan village, and the police arrived to restore order.

Villagers accused Mohanlal, a geography teacher, of molesting girl students and attempting to befriend them. They stated that he also offered to give mobile phones to students in exchange for friendship. The affected students reportedly informed their families about the situation.

Upon learning of the allegations, family members of the female students and villagers staged a protest outside the school, calling for the suspension of Mohanlal. When he arrived at the school, he was physically assaulted by the villagers. The police arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control, promising a thorough investigation into the matter
