Rajasthan: Miscreants attack family with swords, iron rods; 3 hurt

Three members of a family, including two women, sustained critical injuries following a sword attack on them in the Pilkhana area of Jhalawar city, Rajasthan.

According to Imran, one of the victims, a dozen people, including Rashid, Sahil Junaid, and Ali, who live in the neighborhood, attacked his family members with swords, sticks, and iron rods, injuring him, his mother-in-law, and his wife. Police rushed to the scene and took the injured to a district hospital.

According to the victim's family, the accused sell ganja and smack. The accused had threatened Imran several times, accusing him of being an informant.

It appears to be a case of personal enmity, but police are investigating the case from all angles. A case has been registered, and police are engaged in nabbing the accused.
