Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to help Dilip Kumar sort out the property issue relating to land mafia
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has extended his support to veteran actor Dilip Kumar in a property dispute between him and a land mafia.
CM Fadnavis has said that he would talk to Dilip Kumar and his family which is being threatened by some local builders of Mumbai or popularly knows as land mafia.
Saira Banu, the veteran actress and the wife of Dilip Kumar has sought time to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the matter and discuss the issue of property and land of the builder, who is currently in jail, to release Samir Bhojwani.
While making an official announcement about seeking the time with PM Narendra Modi, Saira Banu’s official Twitter handle read, “Request from Saira Banu Khan: The Hon'ble @PMOIndia Shri @narendramodi Sir, Land Mafia Samir Bhojwani released from jail. No action taken despite assurances by CM @Dev_Fadnavis. Padma Vibhushit betrayed, threatened by money and muscle power. Request meeting with you in Mumbai.”
As she tagged the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in the tweet, the BJP leader responded by saying, “I will speak to them and try to sort out the issue.”
Earlier, Saira Banu had registered a police complaint in December 2017, in which she had alleged that Bhojwani had been threatening and harassing the actress and Dilip Kumar over the property issue and the land deal.
After the complaint, the Mumbai Police had booked and arrested Bhojwani.
