J&K: ‘Imran Khan should be given chance,’ says ex-CM Mehbooba Mufti after Pulwama terror attack
On Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's recent statement to India over Pulwama terror attack, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said he should be given chance.
"It's true that whether it was Pathankot attack or Mumbai attack Pakistan was given proof but they didn't take action. But because Imran Khan is a new PM & he is talking about a new start, he should be given a chance. We should give proof & see what they do," said Mehbooba Mufti.
On Tuesday, Pak PM Imran Khan spoke on Pulwama attack and said If India will attack, they won't keep quite. Khan also denied of Pakistan playing any role in the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber.
"If Indian government thinks you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We all know starting a war is in the hands of humans, where it will lead us only God knows. This issue should be solved through dialogue," said Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Pulwama attack.
Imran Khan asked India to investigate the matter and will get full co-operation from the neighbouring country. Khan also assured India that action would be taken against the perpetrators of the Pulwama attack if Delhi shares 'evidence'.
