Caught on Camera! BJP leaders attending funeral asked to remove ‘shoes’ by martyr soldier’s angry relatives
BJP Ministers attending the funeral of army man martyred in recent Pulwama encounter with terrorists were accused of ‘insensitive’ behaviour by relatives of a soldier. The incident was recorded on camera by relatives on the soldier.
Union minister Satyapal Singh, Meerut BJP lawmaker Rajendra Agarwal and UP minister Sidharth Nath Singh were sitting with the relatives in the cremation area with their shoes on. However, this infuriated the family of Ajay Kumar, who died in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama encounter.
The footage that was recorded on phone went viral on social media. In the video, a member of the jawan’s family can be seen shouting at the leaders and asking them to be sensitive. They were asked to remove their shoes.
Not only this, Agarwal and Satyapal Singh appear to be chatting and laughing in a separate mobile clip of the funeral that has been shared online.
Ajay Kumar was among the four soldiers killed in a Pulwama encounter with Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists, in which mastermind of Pulwama attack, Kamaran was gunned down. The encounter was in wake of a recent suicide attack on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in which over 40 security personnel were killed last Thursday by the Pakistan-based terrorist group.
27-year-old Kumar was from the Bassi Tikri village in Meerut in western UP. He was the father of a two-year-old boy. His father was also in the army. He joined the army in 2011 and was married in 2015.
