CBSE Paper Leak: Board to clarify its plans on re-test for Class X in 10 days, says Delhi HC
CBSE paper leak has already become the topic of discussion these days as for how a Board paper of prominent board could be a leak so easily. On 2nd April 2018, Delhi High Court has asked to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that is there any way to stop the further leak.
Delhi HC also asked the CBSE to clarify about the Mathematics re-examination for Class 10th. However, CBSE had already announced the re-test date for Class 12th Economics paper which will be held on 25th April 2018.
A bench of acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C Hari Shankar, who said that CBSE has to announce the date for the re-examination for Class in the next 10 days because it would not only waste the academic year of the students but would be like ‘a sword hanging over their heads’.
CBSE has said that no decision has been taken for Class 10 Mathematics re-examination. However, the Board announced that the examination would be conducted in the two states only i.e. Delhi and Haryana only.
The Delhi HC said to CBSE that they should take the decision on the CBSE paper leak and announce the inform the court by 16th April 2018. Because on the basis of Class 10th results, students could only decide their stream for classes 11th, 12th.
Earlier, CBSE has announced the dates for Class 12th Economics Board exam that will be held on 25th April.
