2012 Delhi Gangrape: Kangana Ranaut slams Indira Jaising for her remark on Nirbhaya convicts
Panga actress Kangana Ranaut is once again hitting headlines, not for her upcoming movie rather for slamming advocate Indira Jaising. At a recent press conference for her upcoming film, the actress was asked on the ongoing case about Nirbhaya convicts. To which 32-year-old actress said that she wants the convicts to be hanged publicly.
She further lashed out at senior lawyer for saying that Asha Devi (Nirbhaya’s mother) should forgive her daughter’s culprits just like Sonia Gandhi did by forgiving Rajiv Gandhi’s murderer. Jaising's tweet read, "While I fully identify with the pain of Asha Devi I urge her to follow the example of Sonia Gandhi who forgave Nalini and said she didn’t not want the death penalty for her . We are with you but against death penalty."
Kangana said that women like her give birth to such kinds of monsters and murderers. She continued, “She should be kept in jail along with the convicts. How can these women pity the convicts? It is these kinds of women who give birth to such monsters.”
Kangana also said that a person who has committed such a gruesome crime should not be considered a minor. These men should be hanged publicly to set an example. Even Nirbhaya’s mother agrees with her statement and applauded the actress for standing up for her. She further commented on Jaising’s comment "Where were these human rights people when such a barbaric crime was committed?”
Coming back to Kangana the actress is soon going to hit the silver screens with her upcoming film Panga which is all set to release tomorrow i.e on 24th January. The film is helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari starring Richa Chadha, Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta apart from Kangana.
