Woman makes fun of questions posed during interview; video goes viral

While this COVID-19 pandemic have guided technology closer to us, not everybody has had enough time to get used to it . There have been numerious fails that, when we look back, make us laugh.

A woman applying for a position of flight attendant with SkyWest Airlines had an almost identical encounter recently. Without knowing that she was recording herself, the woman identified as Chaylene Martinez poured scorn on her would-be employer during a one-take video interview.

The woman’s interview video is now going viral and must be sending chills down the spine of others preparing for online interviews.

As reported by Mirror online, the woman, who uses the TikTok account under the username @chayjordan_, is seen making fun of the questions posed during an interview with SkyWest Airlines.

“What is your impression of SkyWest company culture and how does that resonate with you?”,interviewer asked.

The video showed Martinez making fun of the question and telling someone on the phone that it was the “stupidest, cheesiest question I've ever read in my life”. Sadly, the woman had no clue that she had started recording the video too early and by a twist of fate started recording her answer.

Furthermore, the woman goes on to tell the person on the phone, “You have to record yourself saying it, so, it's so awkward.”after a brief stop to apply lip gloss, the woman kept talking on the phone. Martinez said that she actually wanted to tell that her impression of SkyWest culture was on the basis of mission statement that the firm had.

All of a sudden, the woman noticed that her answers were already being recorded and she gasped in disbelief.

“Oh no,” the woman said, before looking into the camera and saying, “I'm so sorry, I did not realise it was recording, I was practising.” She then ended the video.

In the caption of the interview video, the woman elucidated, “Doing a video interview that you only get once chance to get right...accidentally started recording early.”
