Delhi is all set to host a dance, music and theatre carnival with an aim to promote Indian and International arts and offer exceptional live entertainment to audiences
The Navrasa Duende Global Carnival will be held from February 23-25, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The Global Carnival will have an assemblage of pavilions dedicated to complete range of arts and entertainment.
The three day carnival will be a soaking experience for indulging in an entire range of global arts and entertainment; where in all age groups coming from any part of the world can have real experience of a getaway in the truest sense.
The carnival will include a variety of genres in music and dance like Indian, western and world classical, rock, pop, jazz, folk, and electronic music.
Furthermore, other events at the carnival will include theatre & dance concerts; photography, painting, and sculpture exhibitions; screening of feature films; wellness sessions; interiors product exhibitions; literary events; fashion shows, and much more.
Dinesh B. Singh, Founder and CEO, Navrasa Duende, on sharing his enthusiasm said, "The Global Carnival is a first-of-its-kind experience in India, wherein artists and performers from the country, and around the world, will come together to create a Broadway Street-like atmosphere and showcase both popular, and indigenous forms of art simultaneously."
Some of the major artists/groups who are participating in the carnival are Western Classical Symphony, Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra (U.K) with seventy five piece orchestra, EDM night with famous EDM ALPHA 9 (Russia), Afishal (UK), Anish Sood (India) among others.
The One Mega Indian Classical Concert will feature artistes like Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia and sitar maestro Shujaat Khan.
Mega Bollywood/Sufi Night will feature Rekha Bhardwaj, Javed Ali, Nizami Bandhu Opera show 'Night at Opera' by London Festival Opera (U.K), Lizt Alfanso Dance Cuba's (ALAS)'s Kaleidoscopic fusion of ballet, flamenco, cha-cha-cha, rumba, bolero, and Salsa dance in a theatrical manner.
The other major highlight at the carnival includes a movie panel session by veterans of Indian cinema.
