RBI Recruitment 2020: Good news! Last date extended for Assistant post; check new schedule

An important update for aspirants who want to apply for the vacancies released by Reserve Bank of India. The application process for RBI’s Assistant post has been extended for government job aspirants. Interested and eligible candidates can check the new notification released at rbi.org.in.

Now, the last date to apply for the vacancies is January 24, 2020. While the application fee for the exam is available until January 24, 2020.

This year, RBI released a total of 926 Assistant posts for Graduate aspirants. Notably, this is the highest recruitment drive released by Reserve Bank of India since 2015.

The selection to the post of RBI Assistant will be done through a preliminary examination, main exam and a language proficiency test.

The language proficiency test for Assistant post was started by RBI in 2017. The test will be held after the preliminary and main exam and only qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the language proficiency test. The test will be held in the official or local language of the state concerned.

RBI Assistant Examination Details:

The preliminary examination will tentatively be held on February 14, and 15, 2020. While the main examination will tentatively be held in March 2020.

Application Fee for RBI Assistant 2020:

• For General category: Rs 450
• For Reserved and ex-Servicemen category: Rs 50
