DSSSB Recruitment 2020: 710 vacancies released for PGT and Counselors; read details

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has started the application process for 710 vacancies for PGT (Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, English, History, Maths, Physics, Sanskrit, Punjabi, and Geography) and Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselors across the state.

The application window is released for January 14, 2020, and the last date to apply for the vacancies is February 13, 2020. The registration for the post of PGT and Counselor can be done by visiting the official website at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

The official notification for the post was released on January 3, 2020.

Out of the total 710 vacancies, 394 vacancies are released for PGT teacher, and 316 vacancies are released for the post of EVGC Counsellor.

Check eligibility criteria required for DSSSB PGT and Counselor Posts:

• For PGT: Candidates should hold a higher secondary and also Diploma/ Degree from a recognized central or state university. He/she should also hold a Post Graduate, Ph.D. or have passed B.Ed/ B.T
• For Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselor (EVGC): Aspirants should hold a Degree/Diploma or a Post Graduate degree in Psychology.

Application Fee:

• General and OBC aspirants: Rs 100
• SC, ST and women candidates: Fee exempted
