UP man kills teen girl after she spurns his romantic advances, slaps him

In a shocking incident of crime reported from Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly murdered a teenager as she turned own his romantic advances and slapped him. The accused allegedly killed the girl in broad daylight in Bulandshahr.

A neighbour of the victim, the accused had allegedly been stalking her. The accused, identified as Sunil, had allegedly proposed to the girl and had asked for her mobile number.

However, the victim had slapped the accused. Angry at the same, the accused allegedly pushed the girl and she fell on a stone and died on the spot. After this, the accused allegedly strangled her and ran away from the spot on realizing that she was no more.

After allegedly murdering the teen victim, the accused stayed in the village and pretended to have no role to play in the horrific crime.

The accused also took part in the protests that were carried out following the 16-year-old girl's death. Investigation let out that last Thursday, when the girl was returning from her coaching in Khurja, The Times of India reported. The accused had allegedly murdered the Class 10 student and disposed her dead body in a field.

Few of the villagers stated that they saw a man wearing a 'red shirt' fleeing from the crime spot. At first, the police held a man for interrogation but later released him. Following this, the police put 300 mobile phones on surveillance and traced their location.

Through surveillance, the police were able to zero in on a 15-year-old boy who confessed to the crime he committed and gave away the name of two others.
