Two men abduct, rape teen girl, record video of obscene act

In an incident of crime brought to light from Greater Noida, a girl belonging to a Dalit community was kidnapped and raped by two men.

The accused allegedly recorded the obscene act and threatened to make it viral on the internet. The accused did not stop here, they allegedly made the girl consume poison and hurled casteist remarks at her.

The horrifying incident became known when the girl's parents came to know that she was pregnant. Reportedly, the accused threatened to kill the girl and asked her to stay tight lipped about the incident.

However, the girl, shared her ordeal with her family, after which, her father approached the police and registered a complaint. On the basis of the allegations, the police charged the two accused under Sections 328 (causing hurt by means of poison etc), 364 (kidnapping or abducting with intently to secretly or wrongfully confine a person), 376D (gang-rape) along with other provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), The Times of India reported.

The accused have also been booked under provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, along with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

According to police official privy to the case, "An FIR in the case was registered at the Kasna police station on 28th September based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father. Investigation was taken up in the case right away, and the accused, who were at large, were traced and arrested. "
