Pune: 25-year-old woman surrender after killing her live-in partner
A shocking news came to light from Pune where a 25-year-old woman approached Sinhagad Road police station in wee hours on Tuesday and told them that she killed her 26-year old live-in partner in a rented flat at Narhe. The woman killed her boyfriend who was also her childhood friend over their strained relationship.
According to police, the woman confessed that she slit her throat with a surgical knife while he was fast asleep because he was not maintaining their relationship. As soon as she confessed her crime team of police rushed to her flat where they found the man’s body lying in a pool of blood. They also recovered the murder weapon from the site. As per reports, the man was killed between 1 am-4 am on Tuesday.

The woman told the police that even she tried to commit suicide from a ceiling fan with the help of odhani, however, she could as she is pregnant ad instead decided to approach the police.
During further investigation police got to know that in June 2019 the woman who works as a medical support staffer with a city hospital filed a rape complaint against the deceased. The case was due for hearing on Tuesday before a city court. From the past couple of months, man has been trying to convince the woman to withdraw the rape complaint and in the wake of this, he also threatened her on multiple occasions.
The man who came to Pune from his native place Jat in Sangli on Monday night thinking that the woman will take the case back however they ended up fighting before going to sleep. This all started when the woman got to know through her friend at her brother’s wedding that her lover had got married. This information strained their relationship and it was then she filed the rape complaint against her deceased boyfriend.
