Man kills newlywed before killing self; know shocking reason

In a horrifying incident, a man killed a newlywed woman, who was his ex-girlfriend. The incident took place within the limits of the Bhagan Bigha police outpost of Rahui police station in Bihar’s Nalanda district.

After killing the newlywed, the accused killed himself on Sunday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Rajpal Paswan alias Rehan (25) and Shabnam Kumari (23). Reportedly, the two were in a relationship, but Shabnam’s marriage was fixed with another man, identified as Vikash of Shahpur village. The duo got married on May 26.

On May 30, when Shabnam along with her husband was headed to her matrimonial house when Rehan stopped the car at Khidarchak. He dragged Shabnam out of the vehicle and asked her to come with him. When Shabnam refused to go with him, he shot her in the head with a country-made pistol and then shot himself, according to a report by The Times of India.

Both Shabnam and Rehna rushed to the hospital where the doctor declared the woman dead and referred Rehan to Patna after looking at his critical condition. However, he also died on the way.

However, police have seized the country-made pistol used by Rajpal.
