Kerala: 75-year-old woman suffering from memory loss raped by three men
A 75-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by three men on Tuesday. As per media reports, the woman was suffering from memory loss. She was raped by the men on the pretext of being fed tobacco.
As per the medical report of the woman, there were injuries mark on her private parts.
After the incident, the woman was admitted to the Kolenchery Medical CollegeHospital. She was sent for emergency surgery at the
facility.
The woman’s family members told police that she had been suffering from mental health issues.
Police questioned other persons and identified the three accused as Omana, her son Manoj and another person named Mohammed Shafi.

On Sunday after, the woman was taken to Omana’s house where she was assaulted and raped. After the assault, the woman was brought back to her home from where she was taken to the hospital as she was bleeding. During her treatment, doctors confirmed that the woman was raped and assaulted. The victim had injuries on her urinary bladder and intestine, IANS reported.
On the other hand, Omana told her neighbours that the 75-year-old woman had slipped and fallen. The police have arrested the three accused.
Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja expressed grief over the incident and ensured take strict action against the culprits.
