Disturbing video shows three youth mercilessly thrashing a dog over petty issue
In a gruesome incident of animal cruelty was reported in Kerala on Monday, where a dog was clubbed to death by a youngster and two minor boys.
The incident took place at Adimalathura beach in Kerala and came to light when a disturbing video showing the canine being severely thrashed by three youths was shared on social media.
The dog named Bruno, a black Labrador was reportedly joint taken care of by eight siblings. The clip of assault was shared by one of the siblings named Christuraj on Facebook.

In the video, Bruno can be seen tied by his neck to a boat and mercilessly beaten by three youngsters. After being shared on social media, the video was spread like wildfire in cyberspace and netizens raised their voices demanding “justice for Bruno”.
The complaint was filed by Christuraj’s sister Sony P against the three boys. In her complaint, Sony stated that Bruno had recently started going to the beach. He usually returned home by noon but on Monday, he didn’t return, timesnownews.com reported.
Following this, her brother-in-law, Andrew, went out looking, Bruno. When Andrew reached the beach, he saw three youths were brutally beating their pet dog. However, he failed to confront the three youths as he was alone. The trio killed Bruno and then threw his carcass into the sea, according to a report by The Times of India.
According to a verified Instagram user named Ted, The Stoner revealed that the boys have allegedly beaten the dog to death as it slept under the boat of the accused.
Sony further told that after filing a police complaint, the accused came to their house and gave death threats to her and her siblings.
She also told that the complaint was registered on Tuesday but the police didn’t take any action against the accused. After getting no help from police, Christuraj posted a video of the animal cruelty incident on social media, TOI reported.
According to a police officer, a case has been registered under relevant sections. However, they have not taken the accused into custody as all the offenders shown in the video are all under the age of 18.
