A shocking news has come to light from Delhi’s Chanakyapuri where a 57-year-old Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, Keshav Saxena, committed suicide. The incident came to light early morning i.e. 7 am on Wednesday. He killed himself by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside his house.
As per reports, when the deceased’s wife found him hanging from the ceiling she rushed him to nearby hospital wherein doctors declared him dead. Hospital authorities immediately alerted police who immediately swung into action. On reaching the crime spot they saw officer used a bedsheet to hang himself and even the marks on his body suggest he has committed suicide.
Eish Singhal, DCP said, “We received a call from the hospital authorities about the incident. Saxena used a bedsheet to hang himself. We also found a suicide note inside his bedroom… We are probing the matter.”
The family of the deceased told the police that Keshav was going under depression for a long time now. During further investigation, they recovered a suicide in his handwriting.
Police have sent the suicide note for analysis while they are further probing the matter. As per reports, the deceased officer was posted at ITO in Delhi.
