Alcoholic man brutally murdered by son for abusing, assaulting his mother
60-year-old man was allegedly brutally killed by his 25-year-old son on Tuesday. The crime took place after the elderly victim, identified as Annarao Bansode, physically assaulted his wife, identified as Jaymala.
According to a report by The Times of India, Annarao Bansode, aged 60, a labourer by profession, was an alcoholic. He used to assault his wife frequently and abused his two sons whenever they tried to intervene to save their mother. On Tuesday, the sexagenarian, after drinking liquor, turned the gas stove on and began damaging floor tiles using a hammer. He then hurled abuses at his wife and assaulted her
The man’s wife then called their son, identified as Sandeep. Annarao abused Sandeep, as well. A fight erupted between the father-son duo. Sandeep, in a frenzy of rage, stabbed Annarao using a sharp object and attacked him with a hammer, leading to injuries that eventually resulted in his death. Later, Sandeep, a driver by profession, was taken into police custody for the crime.
In another incident of crime reported from Karnataka’s Bengaluru, a 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old wife to death over suspicion of infidelity.
The person, who has been taken into police custody, has been identified as BR Kantharaju. He suspected that his wife, identified as Roopa HG, was having extramarital relationships with her two male family members.
His doubts grew when he saw her dancing with the two during a family trip, according to reports. An altercation flared up between the couple over the matter. The accused, in a frenzy of rage, stabbed his wife to death.
