This ex-BB contestant slams show for torturing contestants for TRP
Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial and popular television shows which is telecasted in different languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bangla, Marathi, and Malayalam. However, every show has different contestants and different hosts.
Every year, the Bigg Boss hit the TRP charts for its content, controversy, and contestants. Recently, a former contestant of Bigg Boss Tamil show, Oviya Helen has lashed out at the makers for mentally harassing the contestants during her interaction on Twitter.
She alleged that the reality tv show, Bigg Boss, puts contestants’ mental health at risk. Albeit, Oviya is one of the finest actresses in the Tamil Industry but she got fame after she did Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1, which was hosted by Kamal Haasan.
After being receiving so much popularity from the show, Oviya spilled the beans about her bitter experience with some of the contestants and walked out of it after having suicidal thoughts.
She has come out after three years and blasted the makers for torturing the contestants for the sake of TRP. She also asked fans what they think about whether the show must be banned or not.

Taking to Twitter, Oviya wrote, "I wish they should not torture contestants until commit suicide for TRP (sic)."
After her tweet, one of the users said that the contestant must read the contract before signing such shows. Then, Oviya replied: “A contract paper should not be the license to put someone in mental trauma or make dem commit suicide.every life matters! I'm not saying to ban the show.at least show some mercy sir!we are all human (sic).”
On the work front, Oviya is currently working on a Malayalam film titled Black Coffe. She will also appear in Arav’s upcoming Tamil film, Raja Bheema.
