Sushant death case: From Siddharth Pathani's explosive revelations to SSR's Europe trip; timeline of CBI's day 6 investigation

On day 6 (26th August) of investigation, CBI who is handling Sushant Singh Rajput's death case embarked on a big lead after Siddharth Pithani revealed shocking details on what happened on 8th June. CBI officials are repeatedly grilling Siddharth, SSR's cook Neeraj, housekeeper Dipesh Sawant. Meanwhile, the Narcotics Department has also filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty and her friends after an alleged drug angle was revealed through a Whatsapp chat between her and Dipesh Sawant.

Here's the timeline of what happened yesterday since morning:

09:36 am:- Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj reached DRDO guesthouse for the 6th time. During the investigation, he revealed that on 8th June, eight hard drives were destroyed at SSR's home, the same day Rhea reportedly left SSR's home. IT professionals were called in to erase files.

10:39 am:- CBI team arrives at DRDO guest house

11:53 am:- Reports revealed CBI is now focusing on events since SSR's Europe trip. Asked Siddharth on what happened when SSR returned from a trip in October, who used to take him for doctor's treatment and why late actor's family members were not allowed to speak to him.

01:26 pm:- CBI officials once again visit doctors of Cooper Hospital who conducted actor's postmortem. They went to enquire about the question raised by the AIIMS forensic team which is negligence done in the report. They have taken various documents into consideration.

04:11 pm:- SSR's building watchman reached DRDO guest house.

04:30 pm:- Two Mumbai Police personnel, who were summoned by the CBI team left the DRDO guest house.

11:57 pm:- Siddharth Pithani and Neeraj left the DRDO office after 11 hours o questioning.

Apart from the CBI and ED now Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to is involved in the case after ED wrote to the NCB to look into the drug angle in the case.
