UGC NET 2018: Bad news! This decision of CBSE will make you suffer; click to know
Students who are going to appear for the UGC NET 2018 exam this year, having a bad news for all aspirants. As this decision taken by CBSE will give some loss to the students.
Including, the changes in examination pattern, the UGC NET examination fees also get increased from this year. It means from this year candidates have to pay the extra fees. The fees of the exam increase to Rs 400. However, the online application process will be started from 5 March.
There will be only two exam instead of three exams. The first paper will consist of 100 marks and the other will be of 200 marks.
According to the notification, the online application will begin from 5 April. Candidates can submit their fees till 6 April. In case of any mistakes in the application form, students can make changes before 25 April. However, the exam will be conducted on 8 July 2018.
CBSE will organise the NET (National Eligibility Test) exam in different 100 subjects. While in 2014 there were only 79 subjects and in 2018, there are 84 subjects. In 2016, the number of the subject increased to 100. Yoga subject has been introducing as a new subject.
Meanwhile, the fees for the unreserved category student is Rs 1000 and for unreserved categories like OBC- Rs 500 and for SC/ST and the other will be Rs 250 only. Earlier, reserved category students have to pay Rs 600, OBC- Rs 300 and for SC/ST- Rs 150.
The UGC NET 2018 exam will be conducted on 8 July 2018.
